What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy that refers to the principles of behavior to improve socially significant behavior. The goal of ABA is to reduce challenging behaviors (i.e., aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.) and maximize the child’s ability to successfully learn.

How to Find the Right ABA Provider

What to look for and questions to ask

Getting Started: Process Overview

Step 1

Initial Contact

Email us at [email protected] or submit a contact request to confirm availability and ensure we are in-network with your insurance.

Step 2

Insurance Verification

Email us a copy of the front and back of your child’s insurance card. We will conduct a Benefits and Eligibility check and get back to you within 1-2 days.

Step 3

Send Documents

Should you decide to move forward, please email us a copy of your child’s ASD diagnostic report. If the diagnostic report is not within the past 2 years, please email us a doctor’s note that includes a recommendation to continue ABA services. We will then request an authorization from the funding source to conduct an initial assessment for your child which may take up to 5 days.

Step 4

Schedule Assessment

Once the initial authorization is received, a BCBA will contact you to schedule a date for the initial assessment.
