Our comprehensive program teaches children with autism the foundational skills needed to be successful in all facets of their lives. Our programs address skills in the areas of social interaction, language, play, motor, daily living, cognition, executive functioning, and academics.

At the start of services, a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) will be conducted in which we review your child’s records, interview parent(s)/caregiver(s), observe your child, and conduct formal/informal assessments.
We will then create a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and identify skill acquisition goals to address specific skill deficits. These goals will be taught, monitored, and assessed during your child’s 1:1 therapy.
Depending on the number of therapy hours authorized for your child, you will have a team of 1-4 Behavior Technicians (BTs) trained to teach the skills identified during the assessment process. This 1:1 therapy is provided under the supervision of your Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who trains the BT to ensure each session maximizes teaching opportunities across both structured and natural formats.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be assigned to your child’s case. The BCBA is responsible for creating treatment plans and ensuring goals are carried out as intended. Supervisors will also conduct initial and ongoing assessments, analyze data, modify treatment plans as needed, write progress reports, provide ongoing training and support for your Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with other professionals working with your child.
A unique and highly effective aspect of Spectrum Behavioral Therapies’ ABA treatment includes monthly clinic meetings. This is an opportunity for the entire clinical team and the family to actively participate in collaborative discussions regarding the child’s current goals, behaviors, and overall progress.
During monthly clinic meetings, the BCBA conducts a comprehensive review of all treatment areas and makes efficient changes to the clinical program to drive results. This collaborative approach has been shown to maximize progress and empower families to generalize ABA strategies that support all areas of the child’s day-to-day life. Parent involvement is key to the ABA program’s success, and parents are encouraged to participate actively throughout their child’s treatment. Parent training goals are developed specifically for each family, with the child’s goals and parents’ strengths and challenges in mind.
During parent training sessions, parents work 1:1 with their supervisor to learn about the principles of ABA and strategies to maintain consistency in teaching, ensuring a unified approach to the child’s development. Supervisors support families by providing guidance and resources to empower them to understand and use these skills on a daily basis.
Through the Foundations program, your child will work on skills such as:

ABA therapy is particularly beneficial for children because it offers early intervention. Early indicators of autism, such as delayed speech or social challenges, can be addressed effectively through ABA therapy. Our interventions focus on improving communication, social, and daily living skills. Parents can expect to see their children develop critical abilities that improve their interaction with others and increase their success in various settings.
Starting therapy at a young age allows for the greatest impact. It leverages the brain’s neuroplasticity, which gives children the capacity to learn—or unlearn—behaviors, routines, and actions quickly. Early intervention programs address developmental delays and promote skill acquisition. Success stories from our center highlight the long-term benefits of early intervention, including improved academic performance and better social integration.
ABA therapy isn’t just for children; it offers valuable support for young adults and adults. Our programs help individuals develop life skills, improve social interactions, and achieve greater independence. We provide vocational training and community integration activities tailored to these age groups. These services improve the individuals’ quality of life and support their future goals.

It’s been a year since my kids have been with Spectrum, I can’t begin to tell you how amazing everyone at Spectrum has been with both my kids. Anyone looking into ABA agencies, I strongly recommend you consider Spectrum, they will be very helpful, reliable and friendly.Posted on Alexis AmbrosioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spectrum has truly been life-changing for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. The office is always spotless and inviting, and full of people who truly care about the children they work with. Jess has been nothing short of amazing. Thanks to their patience, dedication, and skill, my son has found his voice and made progress we once only hoped for. Richie and Marisa are incredible supervisors! Always on top of everything, quick to communicate, and making sure we always feel like a priority. We’ve been to other clinics for different therapies, but nothing compares to the care, professionalism, and genuine passion we’ve experienced at Spectrum. We are beyond grateful for the difference they’ve made in our son’s life. 🤍Posted on Maria ServinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been with Spectrum for almost a year now, and I truly can't say enough wonderful things about them. From the very beginning, the entire staff has been caring, patient, and genuinely invested in my son's growth. The progress he has made in such a short time is nothing short of amazing, and I know it's because of the dedication and skill of this incredible team. Special thanks to Alex, Daniel, and Kenneth, who work with my son directly and bring so much energy, compassion, and creativity to every session. They meet him where he's at, celebrate his victories, and help him through the challenges with kindness and understanding. I also want to recognize Marisa and Janet, who are outstanding supervisors--always checking in, offering guidance, and making sure every plan is tailored to fit my son's needs. What makes Spectrum stand out is that they don't just provide therapy, they become like family. We always feel supported, heard, and valued. Knowing my son is surrounded by people who truly care about him and want him to succeed means the world to us. If you're looking for an ABA center that will treat your child with respect, patience, and genuine love, I wholeheartedly recommend Spectrum. My child has been with Spectrum for about two years. We are very lucky and fortunate to have selected this ABA company out of many other companies to help our child learn and grow everyday. Scheduling with Anna and team is very convenient because you can either text or email them and they'll respond in a timely manner. Big shout out to Samantha, Kim J, Dalena, Kim T, Melody, Yiming, Kelsey, Cynthia, Elizabeth, and Ashley. They have been nothing but exceptional in our child's case. Very professional, kind, and great human beings. I could tell that they really care about what they're doing. They set goals and help our child meet them. I have no complaints because I have seen the progress our child has made from potty training to learning how to talk, monthly clinic meetings, and the parent training have really helped us as parents. All of the people that I have mentioned above are an important asset to this company and if you're looking for an ABA company, I wouldn't look elsewhere.Posted on Steve BeyerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. SBT has been the only behavioral therapists that has worked with my son and I’m so happy that I chose them first. He has been with them for nearly 3 years and the progress that he has made has been tremendous. He has learned to speak in full sentences, ask us for something when he wants it, listens to directions, sustaining attention and so much more. At SBT, not only do they ask you what goals you want for your child but they also come up with goals that they think your child should learn. Educational goals, life skill goals, social goals, any goals that you can think of, they will come up with a plan together with you to achieve those goals. Not only do they care about your child’s progress, they also care about the parents as well. They constantly make sure to answer any questions or concerns you may have and they will try their best to fit all the sessions into your schedule. If your looking for a behavioral therapists that can teach your child anything, I highly recommend SBT!Posted on Angie KangTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My child has autism and ADHD and was previously in a Special Day Class at a public school. During his 3rd-grade IEP meeting, I requested a 1-on-1 aide so he could attend some academic subjects in a general education class where he wouldn’t have difficulty. However, the school denied my request, and the general education teacher responded by asking me, "What would be good for you to send him to a general class?" I was shocked by this response and realized that I couldn’t send my son to a school with that kind of attitude. I found a private school that was willing to accept him, but they required an ABA therapist to be with him during school hours. The parent who recommended this school spoke very highly of the ABA therapy center her son attended. That’s how I found Spectrum Behavioral Therapy and began services with them. At the same time, my son started attending his new school with the support of behavioral therapists. From the very beginning, we met an amazing team. Andrew was the team's supervisor, and the therapists—Alyssa, Gia, Kenneth, and Jessica—worked so incredibly hard to help my son adjust to school and succeed. I cannot thank them enough for their dedication. We had experience with another ABA therapy center before, but I can confidently say that Spectrum Behavioral Therapy is on a completely different level. They go above and beyond expectations. They notice things I don’t see, suggest solutions before I even realize there’s an issue, and genuinely care about my child with such warmth and dedication. Transitioning from a Special Day Class in a public school to a general education setting in a private school was a huge challenge. The first year, which started in the second semester of 3rd grade, was especially tough for my son. Everything was new, and he struggled to adjust. He had frequent tantrums, and at one point, the school suggested homeschooling for a few weeks. We tried a hybrid schedule—two days at school and three days at home—until he was ready to attend more regularly. Andrew, along with his team of BTs, worked closely with us throughout the remainder of 3rd grade and summer break to create a solid plan for 4th grade. Thanks to their dedication and support, when 4th grade started, my son was able to attend school full-time. Of course, there are still some challenging days, but he is doing unbelievably well and continues to improve every single day. His team evolves as he progresses. Once he accomplishes certain goals, they set new ones to help him continue growing. His current team—Andrew, Janet, Patrick, Carolina, Jennifer, and Jessica—works tirelessly to support him, and I am beyond grateful for all they do. I hope my experience can help other parents who are looking for the best for their children. We all want to give our kids the support they need, and Spectrum Behavioral Therapy has truly made a difference in my son’s life.Posted on Madison PurpuraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We started with Spectrum last year when our nugget had to be removed from his daycare due to aggression. With not an aggressive bone in our bodies, we had not the slightest idea how to address the problem but we wanted him to be in a place that he could start kindergarten in August. Getting him started with Spectrum was easy and quick since he already had his autism diagnosis. They asked a ton of questions to make sure they were addressing every concern we had and doing it in a way we were comfortable with. They wanted to know him and immediately saw him for the bright, funny guy he is. I've never felt like he was too much when he's there. He has so much fun and never wants to leave. I'm elated to say that in less than 6 months, the aggression was gone at home and we are now struggling to think of things to work on! He's using his words effectively and keeping his emotions regulated. He's learned to play games and not get upset if he loses. He's learned to sit for longer periods of time to do table work and, in turn, has started reading and writing at a new level. He's even showing empathy and compassion for others which I never thought would be in the cards. He is beyond ready for kindergarten. I cannot thank them enough for helping us peel back the obstacles to reach our amazing kid underneath.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. We are here to help you with any questions you might have surrounding ABA Therapy.
The duration of your child needing ABA therapy will depend on factors such as age, level of delays, and response to ABA treatment. Because we cover a wide range of developmental areas and need to ensure generalization of skills across people and settings, you should expect your child to need ABA therapy for at least 1-2 years, and often longer. Get started here.
All ABA therapy requires an adult over 18 years old to be present in the home, except in clinic sessions where a caregiver does not need to be present, and you may drop the child off. Caregivers do not need to participate in the entirety of direct ABA therapy sessions but are required to participate in parent training and communication with supervisors and board-certified behavior analysts. The more you participate in your child’s therapy, the better able you will be to implement strategies into your home and help your child meet their goals.
Parents must participate in early intervention treatment. This is so you can use the strategies during and after the sessions. These resources are utilized to support your child’s progress. You are your little one’s main teacher and the skills you learn through participating in early intervention will help improve your teaching skills.
The hourly commitment will depend on various factors, but children within our direct ABA therapy program can expect to be scheduled for 10-40 hours per week of sessions.
The length of the assessment procedure differs, usually ranging from two to six weeks, depending on staff availability. Various elements, including the arrangement of required assessment sessions, obtaining insurance cover ABA therapy approvals, and providing sufficient time for an in-depth review by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), can influence this period. This process guarantees a thorough and meticulous evaluation tailored to the unique requirements of your child.
Our BTs have extensive initial training through our company and a 40-hour registered behavior technician (RBT) certification training provided by an outside training program. BCBAs and Clinical Directors provide ongoing training during and outside of 1:1 sessions.
A child demonstrates school readiness when they can learn from different people and demonstrate skills across different environments. The child should be able to follow both individual and group instructions with minimal prompting, transition between activities, attend to group activities, sit for long durations, and complete complex and non-preferred tasks with minimal guidance. Ultimately, school readiness is demonstrated when the child can learn new skills without requiring individualized one-on-one support. Learn more about school readiness here.
Placing a child in a school readiness program before they enter formal education is imperative to ensure they acquire essential classroom success skills. These foundational skills are necessary for children to find themselves consistently behind their peers because the school often needs to be equipped to teach one-on-one skills that are expected to be demonstrated in the class setting. In our school readiness program, children are provided with necessary tools such as learning from various sources, following individual and group instructions, transitioning between activities, sitting for extended durations, participating effectively in social opportunities, and completing complex and non-preferred tasks. Through this proactive approach, children develop the self-sufficiency to learn and adapt as they progress through their academic journey. Dedicating a school readiness program as a preventive measure minimizes the need for additional support down the road.
