ABA Therapy For Young Adults (18-20) and Adults (21+)

ABA therapy for young adults or adults can be challenging. Autism doesn’t just affect children. However, as individuals with autism reach adulthood, funding and services available to them decrease significantly. Our goal is to come alongside our clients as they reach adulthood by providing them with tools to increase independence and become active participants in their community.

Empowering Autistic Adults: Building Independence and Success through Tailored Vocational and Life Skills Training

Individuals with autism are less likely to obtain employment and move out of their parents’ house in comparison to their typically developing peers. It is difficult to find services that address teaching independence and daily living skills necessary to be successful in adulthood.
Our young adult and adult services are geared towards teaching vocational skills that help individuals obtain jobs and be effective — and even outstanding – employees in the workplace.
Whether an individual is planning on continuing to live at home with their parents, in a supervised apartment, or a supported independent living setting, they will learn skills required to live with minimal support and supervision.

Autism ABA therapy for young adults and adults can and should be able to access their community fully. Individualized programs are created to teach skills like money management, accessing public transportation, and shopping.
