Social Skils

ABA is not just a resource to address behavioral deficits or challenges. Our comprehensive program highlights your child’s individual strengths while teaching skills necessary for them to live independently and participate in society.

Social Skills Groups

As a parent, you may want to find peers for your child to improve their social skills. However, children on the spectrum may need specialized support to address individual needs. For social skills to be effective, children should be grouped not just by age, but by skill level, interests, and shared goals.

Features of our social skills program:

Curriculum determined based on the students’ age and needs (e.g., complimenting, responding to bullying, stranger danger)
Mock circle time (e.g., calendar, singing and dancing, question of the day, responding in unison, show and tell)
Conversation Skills (e.g., initiating, joining, and maintaining conversation)
Interactive Play (e.g., turn taking, sharing, sportsmanship)

Facilitated Play Dates

We match clients with other clients based on age, level, location, and interests. Both children have BTs to support their participation within play dates and to work on individualized goals within regularly-scheduled meetings. These are held at various locations (e.g., home, clinic, Zoom, community, etc.).

Early Intervention

ABA sessions can take place in the home, school, community, clinic, or via Telehealth. Behavior Technicians will work on goals that are created specifically for your child’s unique needs.
